THE

vision.

The Jewel in the Crown

The Gargarro Botanic Garden is the burgeoning creation of a unique and world class botanical installation, representing the premier regional botanic gardens destination in Australia, and the jewel in the crown of the Campaspe region.

It is bold and beautiful and exhibits best practice from a design, sustainability and indigenous plantings perspective.

The region's rich history is being carefully woven through the stories shared in this unique setting; making future generations proud to visit and cherish Gargarro.

AWAKEN
the
SENSES

The design reflects the dry landsapes of the region, celebrating our native flora and precious water resources.

The garden will be based on a multi-sensory design theme, overlaid with a celebration of Australia’s indigenous history.

The design pivots around an interplay of social areas, water tributes, interactive trails, and a showcase of native vegetation.

CONNECT
the
COMMUNITY

The garden nurtures the local and visiting community;

connecting people through the growth of a beautiful space for recreation, celebration and education.

An all abilities access space, designed to enjoy relaxation, appreciate nature, and learn about our history.

An incredible feature of the space is a custom soundshell

amphitheatre, designed to bring people together through live

music and events.
