A plan for our future...
An extensive Master Plan for the development of the Gargarro Gardens is underway, to carefully guide change over the approaching decades. Prepared by TCL ~ the most awarded Landscape Architecture practice in Australia.
The Gargarro Master Plan provides a thoughtful vision to guide the stewardship of the site. It is responsive to climatic variables, recognises Australia’s indigenous history, and provides a multi-sensory design that enhances the wellbeing of visitors and the community.
Gargarro Gardens will exist to:
preserve heritage & species
protect the environment
contribute to education
promote social connection
exemplify good design
The Gargarro Gardens are underway, with defined parkland, water storage, extensive plantings and the feature amphitheatre in place. Five sensory gardens and a plant nursery are planned with an abundance of local and indigenous vegetation.
