We are thrilled to announce the Gargarro Botanic Garden Art Project, with $30,000 on offer to engage an artist to create an original and unique piece of outdoor public art. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of the garden's legacy.
Did you know?
The Gargarro Botanic Garden and Cafe attracts around 35,000 visitors annually.
The successful artwork is required to be 3D, suitable for an outdoor public space and of a scale that will have an impact. The artwork will speak to the botanic garden and the aspirations held for it and/or to country, paying homage to the district's indigenous heritage whose people knew the vast plain as Gargarro.
